Environmental Policy

Hometune takes great responsibility in protecting our environment.

• We adhere to a Spill Containment Plan
• All mobile mechanic vans are equipped with a 20 litre chemical spillage kit
• All staff are expected to be familiar with environmental literature
• All waste oil to be contained in 4 litre oil container provided
• All used fluid/oil are disposed of at our base appropriately
• Any spills must be registered with service despatch and recorded at the time of spillage and appropriate clean up action taken, or assistance requested
• Unless otherwise requested a biodegradable radiator anti-corrosion inhibitor should be used as opposed to a glycol based product
